Isn't this a wonderful picture? I loved it when I first saw it. Imagine how great it would look on a card. Well, to all those reading this, here is a card for you. I am in a card exchange club and the theme this month is blank. Yes, that is right, blank. Anything you want. So, with my creative juices flowing, this is what I came up with. Sadly, I can't use the picture because I forgot to download a high resolution picture. I also used my new Adobe Photoshop for the first time! I cropped the picture and added text. Oh well. Now you all can enjoy.Aside from this beautiful picture, I am amazingly excited for spring! What a long winter it has been. I am sure I am not the only one excited for warmer weather. So, to whatever your winter may be, there is a spring coming!
This spring quote also reminded me of an excellent article I read in the New Era this month titled, Dark Friday, Bright Sunday by Elder Joseph B. Worthlin. It is a message about the hope of the Resurrection. (Easter is only a few weeks away!) Here are some excerpts:
"I think of how dark that Friday was when Christ was lifted up on the cross. On that terrible Friday the earth shook and grew dark. Frightful storms lashed at the earth.
On that Friday the Savior of mankind was humiliated and bruised, abused and reviled. It was a Friday filled with devastating, consuming sorrow that gnawed at the souls of those who loved and honored the Son of God.
But the doom of that day did not endure.
The despair did not linger because on Sunday, the resurrected Lord burst the bonds of death. He ascended from the grave and appeared gloriously triumphant as the Savior of all mankind.
Each of us will have our own Fridays—those days when the universe itself seems shattered and the shards of our world lie littered about us in pieces. We all will experience those broken times when it seems we can never be put together again. We will all have our Fridays.
But I testify to you in the name of the One who conquered death—Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow, Sunday will come.
No matter our desperation, no matter our grief, in this life or the next, Sunday will come."

I saw those tulips and thought of the tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point. I wanted to last year for my birthday but it was too rainy. Maybe this year! :) Hooray for spring!
PS - I've been using photoshop for years now, let me know if you want any tips. I can superimpose faces, remove blemishes, add backgrounds, fix coloring, you name it! :)
